The Allegiant Solutions Story –
Connecting Mining With Innovation
1. The Beginning
Allegiant Solutions is a trusted specialist in casing for the mining and drilling industries across Australia. We deliver best-in-class innovative solutions backed by unmatched technical support. With over two decades of industry experience, we’re passionate about setting a new standard of excellence and driving growth through sustainable, innovative solutions.

The Founder’s Vision:

Allegiant Solutions was founded in Dalby, Queensland, in July 2019, when Kieran Chiverton, our founder and now General Manager, saw a clear need for a provider that focused on solving the unique challenges of the mining and drilling industries - especially in hard rock mining where new innovations introduced to market were few and far between.

Allegiant Solutions became an idea on paper where we would become a customer-focused solutions partner, solving difficult, industry-specific problems with customized, practical solutions. We would set a new standard for the industry by designing innovative products that combine efficiency with safety. Our approach would be rooted in authentic collaboration, where we would educate our clients, ensuring they fully understand the solutions we provide and we would emphasize long-term partnerships, offering 24/7 support and always maintaining open communication with our clients.

From day one, Allegiant was built on core values that guide everything we do:

· Ethics and Integrity
· Discipline and Accountability
· Flawless Execution
· Collaboration and Partnership
· Innovation, Technology, and Safety Leadership
· Commitment to Sustainability

These principles are embedded in our culture and remain central to our purpose: Growth Through Sustainable Innovative Solutions.
2. The Challenge
Seeing a need for innovation in casing for hard-rock mining, Allegiant Solutions was incorporated and the first of our products, the Allegiant Interlevel Casing was designed, prototyped and tested for market. Shortly after, we designed and launched the Allegiant Premium connection and things moved quickly from there. Initially, the business plan was that Allegiant would design and prototype our product range and then outsource the
manufacture of the goods to our quality standards. In order to do this, we established partnerships with two machine shops offshore and validated the processes and equipment to ensure our strict quality conformance standards were met. Steel mills were visited and approved and the first run of production was going through both machine shops under the careful inspection of Kieran who visited the facilities multiple times during key inspection points over the first 6 months of operation to ensure the first two product lines could be manufactured to the highest quality, efficiently and competitively. We were proud of the products being produced and were excited to scale the operations at these locations. The first pipes were in transit to Australia in November 2019 and just before Christmas 2019, the Allegiant team travelled to Mount Isa to do a final inspection and product handover to the client. The product launch was a success, delivering faster installation times and improved safety for site
3. The Pivot
When the pandemic hit, our offshore manufacturing halted and the cost of freight increased rapidly and astronomically. Being a brand new business with only 6 months of trading made the timing not ideal however it also afforded as an opportunity to be agile and adaptable and we were lean enough to be able to do a major pivot. Within a matter of weeks, we assessed our opportunities and threats and created a new business plan – we would commence in-house manufacture. We also innovated a way to ensure our offshore manufacturing facilities were producing compliant products and we continued moving forward. Within weeks we secured local premises, sourced critical equipment, and commenced onshore production. We also relied on local subcontractors to meet deadlines while we prepared to purchase additional CNC equipment to bring manufacturing fully in-house. This agility allowed us to maintain our high standards of quality and customer service. And we’ve never looked back.
4. Growth:
Since then, Allegiant has grown into a team of 15, with most of our manufacturing now in-house at our Dalby headquarters. We have expanded our product range to include the A series and B Series range of threads now providing products for paste casing, high pressure water lines, casing between levels, surface or production liners, goaf casing, surface or intermediate casing for water and service wells and de-watering lines. We also supply a range of industry threads such as WT and cut groove casing. We continue to innovate, expanding our range often – most recently to expand our A Series range to 26” – the largest threaded casing option in the market at its launch. We have also innovated the PASTE 360, a rotating wellhead which is currently undergoing patent approval in several countries, and has just received patent approval from the United States. Our expanded product and service range also includes a casing installation service, further solidifying our position as a leader in the industry.
